PRC steel building were asked to design a new building to join to our customers existing workshop as they had run out of space for servicing and repairing coaches, buses and lorries. Our brief was to provide a steel building that could take to lorry pits to either side and give a third lane in the middle of the building with enough height to jack up a double decker bus.
PRC steel buildings initially provided a few option for the customer to consider prior to a site visit and survey to finalise the design and discuss the groundworks requirements. We provided all the setting out information for the customers groundworks contractor and assisted with the surveying and setting out. Once complete PRC erected the frame and followed on with the cladding.
As the build progressed our customer required some design changes to make the operation of his business easier, PRC embraced these and worked with our customer to tailor his new building to meet his needs.
